Your Shopify store runs on Okendo. You've collected hundreds of reviews, and the best ones come with customer photos: the product unboxed on a kitchen counter, worn at a wedding, still holding up after six months of daily use. Every one of those photo reviews is a ready-made ad. Right now, turning them into branded graphics means rebuilding each one in Canva by hand. Drop in the photo, paste the quote, type the name, export, repeat.
Do that for thirty reviews and you've burned an afternoon. Do it every month and it's a part-time job.
Canva Bulk Create exists for exactly this: connect a spreadsheet to a template, generate the whole batch at once. Your Okendo review export gets you almost all the way there. The review text, star ratings, and reviewer names merge perfectly. The photos don't.
Why Canva Bulk Create Stalls for Okendo Reviews
Okendo's review export (Settings > Import/Export in your Okendo dashboard) produces a CSV with your review text, ratings, reviewer names, and any attached customer photos as image URLs. Okendo's own import template stores these in an imageUrls field, links pointing to photos hosted on Okendo's infrastructure.
A URL is exactly what Canva Bulk Create can't use. Canva only places an image in a generated design when that image is physically embedded inside the spreadsheet file as a DrawingML picture object, the same internal format Excel uses when you insert an actual picture into a sheet. Text in a cell is just text, even when that text is a working image link. Map a URL column to an image placeholder and Canva either leaves the frame empty or prints the raw address across your design.

The Manual Workaround Most Okendo Brands Try First
Two workarounds come up every time a marketing team hits this wall.
The first is manual embedding: open each photo URL in a browser, save the image locally, then Insert > Picture in Excel, place it in the right row, resize, repeat. Workable for a dozen reviews. A full day of unpaid production work for two hundred.
The second is the =IMAGE() formula in Google Sheets. It looks like a fix because the photo actually renders in the cell. It isn't one. =IMAGE() is a live cell reference, not embedded image data, and Canva Bulk Create can't read it any better than a plain URL. One more thing worth clearing up. Okendo already has strong UGC display features: the Media Grid widget puts customer photos in a shoppable gallery on your store, and the Foursixty integration pulls in tagged Instagram content. Those solve on-site display. They don't batch-generate standalone graphics in your own brand template that you can post, run as ad creative, or drop into email. That's the gap this workflow fills.

How to Turn Okendo Reviews Into Bulk Canva Graphics
1. Export your reviews from Okendo.
In your Okendo dashboard, go to Settings > Import/Export and click the export icon in the Reviews row. In the pop-up, pick All time or narrow the date range, then hit Request Export. Okendo builds the CSV and emails it to the account owner's address. One note: Okendo's import template documents the photo field as imageUrls, but we haven't confirmed the exact column header the export file uses. Open your first export and check the header name before building your Canva mapping around it.
2. Clean up the spreadsheet.
Filter down to the rows that have a photo if you're building a photo-forward series. Okendo stores multiple photos per review as comma-separated URLs in a single cell, so split those: keep the strongest photo per review, or duplicate the row once per photo if you want a design for each. A working sheet looks like this:

If you collect Okendo Attributes (fit, scent strength, skin type, quality ratings), those come through as their own columns. They make strong secondary text placeholders: a graphic that says "Runs true to size" under a five-star quote does more convincing than the quote alone.
3. Convert the file with Postprep.

Every customer photo lands as an actual image, not a blank frame or a wall of URL text.
A Repeatable Workflow for Review Graphics
Set this up once and it becomes a monthly fifteen-minute habit. Export at the start of each month, filter to your best new five-star photo reviews, run the file through Postprep, and batch-generate a fresh round of testimonial graphics. Keep two or three template variants ready: a square feed post, a story-sized card, and a text-only layout for great reviews that came without a photo. FAQ
Does every Okendo export include photos?
No. Only reviews where the customer attached a photo carry image URLs. Text-only reviews export with blank media fields, so filter them out first or route them to a text-only template variant.
What if a review has more than one photo?
Okendo separates multiple photo URLs with commas inside one cell. Bulk Create needs one image per placeholder per row, so pick the strongest photo, or duplicate the row for each URL to generate a separate graphic per photo.
Are Okendo's photo URLs public and stable?
They point to media hosted by Okendo rather than session links, and Okendo's own documentation says imported media no longer needs outside hosting once it's on their servers. We haven't tested how those URLs hold up over many months, so spot-check a few older reviews before a big archival run.
Can I use this same process for Loox or Judge.me reviews?

Do I need a specific Okendo plan to export reviews?
The export lives under Settings > Import/Export as a standard dashboard feature, and we found no documented plan restriction on it. Okendo prices by monthly order volume rather than feature tiers for basics like this, but confirm in your own dashboard if you're on the entry plan.
What about video reviews?
This workflow is image-only. Okendo tracks video separately from images (videoUrls versus imageUrls in its own template), and Canva Bulk Create placeholders here are for pictures. Pull standout video reviews individually and handle them as their own format.
